Livestock Valuations

Producing a valuation of your livestock is a complicated affair, and something that is not normally done unless you have specific reasons and really only completely accurate if every animal is valued.

We can however get an approximate value by setting a value for certain groups of animals.

The key things here is that you can define your own groups and associated values.

How accurate the valuation is will then depend on the number of groups created and the values entered for the group. For example.

If we create two groups for cattle only.

MALES = £300

FEMALES = £350

Obvoiusly if we were to now group your cattle into just these two group we could get a value for your animals but it would not be very accurate.

If we create more Groups

BULLS, 1 Year OLd , £400
BULLS , 3 Years Old, £500.
Heifers 2 Year Olds, £300
Heifers 3 Year Olds, £500
Cows, £600
Steers £300

The valuations will be more accurate.

So FarmIT 3000 allows you to define your own animal groups and set values for each group. It will not of course be exactly the same as having a professional valuation but it allows you to see it quickly and fit your own individual needs.
