Hedgerow Records

Under some of the new schemes it is important to keep a record of your hedges and more importantly cutting. This may include the species they are made up of, their approximate age, when they are cut/layed, when new sections are planted etc. Many of the new environmental schemes place restrictions on hedge cutting and proof may be required of exactly when and who cuts the hedge.

You may enter details of hedgerows placed under environmental schemes along with maintenance from the main Field menu.

to create a new record simply select the 'New Hedgerow' option.

Enter a name for the hedge, this may be an offical number or simply a name or reference you give it, select a main field, specify the length, width etc and click the save button to save the hedgerow record. 

Once saved you may enter maintenance information on the maintenance tab.
