Deleting an Animal Death and Movement Record.

An animal death record consist of the detail of the death, i.e the ear tag number, cause of death, date, disposal metthod and an associated movement record which is the same as all movements but with a movement type of 'DEATH'. When deleting a death record it is important to delete the death record and movement and ensure that the animals holding status is now correct, i.e back 'on holding'.

Deleting or Changing the Death Record

From the animals movement page (shown above), click the view death details button to modify the details of the death.

Change the date (blue), modify anything else and click 'OK' (green) or 'DELETE' in red

Double click on the movement ID (column 1) in the movement history
