Animal Details

General

'General' - this tab displays general animal information, ear tag number, date of birth, purchase date, breed, sex etc. The ear tag number and dates may not be changed in this view. (You may edit a ear tag number within the tree-view, See "Changing an Ear Tag Number ")

The 'Breeding Stock' check box identifies the animal as breeding stock. The animal will then be excluded from the catagories of animals requiring sale at 30 months.

You may also record passport details on this page including a location where you keep the passports. This may be a reference to a storage cupboard or filing cabinet.
