Analysing Slaughter House Grades
If you enter details of the animal grades and weights that you received back from the slaughter house, by completing the slaughter house report, you may then analyse the results both by weight and grades.
You may go directly to weight analsys to analyse the Slaughter House weights and
grade ('SH') with the animals last on farm live weight. (Click the button -
bottom right on the slaughter house report.
The weight analysis view includes the slaughter house weights and grades for
slaughtered animals....
The reports menu also provides a number of reports found under the animal type and weight menu for example beef cattle has the following reports
Weights at slaughter, provides a report of the slaughter weight records for a select period and includes the animals breed, sex and type, a killing out percentage is also calculated if the live weight is known.
other reports allow you to view average weights and average weights from different slaughter houses.
finally the carcuss grading report displays the data in the standard grid format allowing you to see where your animals fall in the grid.
This report splits the grid into catagories for example 'Prime Beef < 30 mths'.
It also includes summary's of animals in the catagory.
