The tree is divided up into catagories. These group your animals together according to age, premium status and types of animal, for example breeding stock. There are 16 default catagories, you may add to the catagories yourself although you may not delete the default catagories.

Most of the catagories are self explanatory for example 'SELL NOW' lists animal over 26 months old and approaching 30 months. 'OTMs' (Over Thirty Months) lists animals you should have sold excluding breeding stock.

The history catagory lists all animals you have raised on the holding but which are now dead or sold.

The fields catagories allow you to enter details of field and part fields such as size and how they are treated.

There are also catagories for items such as medicines and chemicals, fertilizers etc so you can easily see what items you are holding on your farm at any time. And the farm location catagory allows you to name the places where these things are stored to make traceability around the farm much easier.

Any catagory with a cross to its left can be expanded by clicking on the cross to see the sub-catagories and individual items listed below.
