Cattle Movements On with barcode scanner

Use this ONLY when moving animals on that are already on the system and under your ownership.

On the movements tab open movement on as shown below

This will then open a form to fill in, circled in red is the minimum required to create an on movement, i.e where the animal is moving from, the date of the movment and the animals in the movement.

Scanning Animal

Double click the green box to open the scanning form if not propmpted to scan passport click Here,

Scanning the bottom barcode of a passport fills in the details of the animals into the software. Once scanned a details form opens which will automatically fill in basic details, additional details can be added by user input.

Pressing "OK" puts the animals into the movement form and then prompts you to scan another barcode to add more animals to the movement,

Before saving the movement press "Select all" to accept animals into movements, press "Save and confirm" and in list movements the confirm box will be ticked as shown below

Now that the animals are in the movement save and confirm and the movements will be completed. If you want to notify CTS see Here.
