Stock Target Weights.

Target weights allow you to define a specific growth rate for animals, these targets are displayed on weight analysis and plotted on the graphs.

You may define target weights from the main menu, Cattle or sheep menu, analysis, weighing, Target Weigh definitions.

 

 

 

Give the target a unique name, for example 350Grams, the classification is not important for sheep but used for cattle in the analysis screen.

 

Enter a target weight, and either a period in days or a rate (Target DLWG), the age in months is calculated automatically.

 

At present the Ration Plan and Mgr Group references are not used,.

 

Save the record by clicking the 'OK' button.

 

Target weights are very usefull when analysing lots of animals, the following graph displays over 1800 animals each with multiple weights, the target weights are shown by the straight lines.
