Recording lambing records is regarded by many as essential for the pedigree breeder but unnecessary and a waste of time for farmers producing lambs for slaughter. There are however many good reasons to record and analyse breeding records in meat producing flocks and with the requirement to individually tag sheep rapidly approaching you may find that keeping breeding records could improve your profitability as well as your flock.

Detailed Reports For Lambing

These reports provide you with details of how your flock does year by year, which is your best ewe or ram etc. and may be used for breeding selection.

Further reports provide scrapie information, prodegy for selected rams and ewes and breeding index information.
