Removing a group of animals from another group

Should you have a group of animals for example a management group, and you have a list of animals representing a group you have physically removed from the original group you may remove them as follows.

First select the management group containing all the animals., for example 'All beef stock'

 

Now select the group (from the available groups) containing the animals to remove. In this example we have selected a management group called 'All Highlanders'.

Animals in the selected group are automatically highlighted in light grey and 'selected' . Now simply click the '<' button to remove then leaving the original group minus the 'All Highlanders'.

Now simply continue as you would normally, i. e click the 'OK' button to continue.

This also works with imported groups for example from a list of sheep read using an EID Reader.
