Nominal Ledger

The Nominal Ledger records all transactions not directly related to Customer or Suppliers, as well as summary information on sales and purchases, for example Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  It is the main table from which Profit and Loss, the Trial Balance and Balance Sheet reports are produced and it forms the core of the accounts system.

You will find the nominal ledger by looking in the 'Internal Financial Reports' section of the 'Reports' menu.

Choosing 'Nominal Ledger' gives the nominal ledger for all your accounts.

To produce a nominal ledger for just one account click on 'Account Detailed' on the same menu

This will bring up a drop down list of all your accounts

Choose the account you want the ledger for and click 'OK'. This will bring up a nominal ledger just for this account.
