Archiving

Once you have been using FarmIT 3000 for a year or two (sometimes sooner) you will have created a lot of management groups, Some like Cull ewes for 2009 may well be simply redundant, others like the ewes put to a particluar tup in 2009, you may feel you want to keep for reference.

However having lots of management groups in the tree view does make it difficult to find the right group and slows things down somewhat.

You may hind groups by changing the group type to 'Archive'.

 

Save the group and refresh the tree to hide the group. Archived groups are then only displayed in the listing of management groups from the main farm menu.
