Farm IT Help - Opening a map

Your maps will be listed under the Map section of the tree view, you can open a map by simply clicking on it!. The map type, Google or Image will then effect how the map is opened.

Opening a map, for Editing or with Options

To open an existing for editing, simply right click on the 'Map name' section of the tree view. This will display the Map menu, select the 'Edit' option.

Select the "Open - with options" to open a map with options for colour and markers

 

The map will then be displayed.

When you open a map the map can be displayed in one of two modes, 'standard mode' and 'edit mode'.

In standard mode the map is locked, you may not add items and should you click on a linked field the field details will open.

In edit mode you may use the menu to add linked fields, labels and draw field boundries. You switch from standard mode to edit mode by right clicking on the map and selecting 'Edit' from the menu that appears.
