Historic Fields

As time goes on you will no doubt buy, sell, rent, lease or even let out fields. You could simply delete a field you have sold or are no longer renting. However you would no longer be able to analyse data associated with that field, and should you rent or buy the field back you will need to add the field again.

The 'Farm Status' option on the main field tab allows you to change the status of the field. If the status of the field is blank or set to 'Active' then the field is listed under the standard lists for field and leased or rented, If you change the status to 'Let Out', 'Sold' or 'Historic', the field is moved to the 'historic' list in the tree view.

You will still be able to see the data related to the field and change its status again should you need to, it simply removes the field from the active lists.
